As well as the usual fresh flower arrangements and floral decorations for special events, I make greetings cards, place mats, wall hangings, mobiles and other decorations using dried and pressed flowers.
The picture opposite shows an example of designs I made using real flowers for a set of plastified A3 placemats and matching A6 menus for a birthday dinner party.
For those who wish to try their hand at collage work using plant material I offer 'do-it-yourself kits' which contains all the material needed to make a bamboo frame and collage like in the picture below. I also make kits for mobiles and I often have excess supplies of hand made paper and dried plant material, which I offer for sale on ebay from time to time.
The picture below is an example of one of my greeting cards: a Victorian style boxed valentine. It is perfumed, wrapped in tissue paper with a message on a writing paper quality insert. I can leave the insert blank for your own hand written message or hand write a suitable message myself. Alternately I can print off a verse of poetry or scanned image or anything else you want to personalise the card.
I can make large cards with envelopes (50cm x 35cm) for special events such as retirement, anniversaries or birthdays.
I aim to make a personalised, unique object to suit your tastes and needs. For example I can make an ivory card with white and silver flowers for a silver wedding celebration, or a pressed flower picture using flowers from a brides bouquet as a wedding present or a simple dried flower or fresh flower arrangement to suit your needs.
